More Christmas

The traditional gorilla of Christmas came and gave Aunt Elizabeth a very special treat. The cousins all opened their very lovely gift from Mom of an advent calendar for everyone. You can tell by their smiles that they all couldn't be happier. Thanks mom... That is soooo much work.

Katt Christmas

The Cousins had fun together. We all enjoyed watching the opening of the presents as well as just generally hanging out. Grandma may not be able to survive more pictures as the Grandsons have no idea they are not fit for laps....

Walmart

Right before 5:00 AM during the Black Saturday frenzy. Elizabeth and I went out and got a computer for mom... and later a monitor by Peter online. So here is what people do the day after Thanksgiving. Posted by Picasa

Cute Kids

Gromit and Tula in the backyard. A photo by Laura. They aren't quite as cute right now as I gave them a haircut.
Tula resting in the backyard.

Neal and Laura in a photo by Auntie Carol. I scanned it in and thought their expressions were very nice. Posted by Picasa

Hanging Lake

Hanging Lake

Here is one of the many lovely waterfalls that casacaded down the mountain on our hike to Hanging Lake. Each little part of that hike is more breathtaking than the last.

Our family of four made it to the top. Here we are by spouting rock at the top of the hike.

Neal with area closed sign.
Benjamin and Neal are on the log that goes into the Hanging Lake. They arrived at the top much sooner than the rest of us and spent there time concocting evil plans. The picture of Neal is the sign marked "Area Closed" that the two of them thought was a good idea to put at the top of the lake. They told us that the lake was closed and we couldn't see it. Posted by Picasa

Lake Dillon

Benjamin, Daniel and Neal with the "interesting hike objects" as dictated by Ben.
Here the kids are on beautiful Lake Dillon. We enjoyed a hike and later a cocktail in the marina here. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon with Peter and Barbara's families. Plus we got a deal on the hotel room and that always makes it better. Posted by Picasa
