Christmas in Japan

Brandon and I on Christmas Eve on top of Mt. Aso, a real volcano in the middle of one of the largest calderas in the world.

Mary and I by our Christmas Tree opening presents...we couldn't wait until Christmas morning to open them!

We kept the tradition of soup, cheese, and crackers alive with a delicious potato soup that we'll make for everyone when we get back. We splurged on real cheese and Ice Wine.

Brandon posing by our tree with the Santa cookies and stockings that Mom sent. Mmm!

Later that week, touring Hita with a teacher I work with and her two kids. We're posing in front of a sake factory that we toured, before going to a small pottery village in the mountains nearby.

Wow! It was great to get on and see something posted. Thanks. Cute pictures... Love the soup table and the tree.
